Anaesthesiology

The activities of the faculty of Anaesthesiology are keeping in with the objectives of the patient care, training and research.

Work load of the Department:

We are offering specialized services in general and regional anaesthesia covering all types of obstetrical, gynaecological, paediatric bronchoscopy and paediatric surgical procedure. We provide patient care at all level of pre-operative, per-operative and post-operative period. We also run a 24 hours emergency anaesthesia service for obstetric patients.

Clinical services:

All patients scheduled for routine operation are assessed for risk factors for operative procedure in PACU room.Operative services are delivered by well-equipped operation theater.Operated patients are closely monitored in a well-equipped post-operative ward for a period of 24 hours.Anaesthesia services are given to the patients undergoing paediatric bronchoscopy procedures.
